So me and my friends were playing unrated and we were lucky to get an immortal Raze in our team. He played an IGL for the whole game. He had a call for everything. Every situation. He wasn't like the annoying guy who dies and tells you how to play your character, he was really an IGL.
Now, I know this is not just because he's immortal. He wasn't the first immortal we found in unrated. But immortals and radiants more often than not will get pissed at their gold-plat teammates and just try to carry by themselves.
We won 13-2 and not because the Raze carried us with kills, since we all had around the same amount of kills, but because we all knew what to do and killing became easy.
So what truly made a difference here was not his mechanic skills, but his leadership. A person with his game sense but around our elo would've made the game just as easy.
How to practice this kind of thing? I imagine this is a much harder skill to have than just good aim. It probably takes a lot longer to learn, but I feel like this could be an awesome skill to have.
