For clarification:

I'm usually on discord with buddies while playing valorant. I do not stream my gameplay to them, but when my val teammates talk in comms it plays through my mic on discord as if I'm the one talking and all my friends can hear it. This is very annoying for both me and them and usually results in me turning off voice chat. This is not an echo problem, it still happens even if my mic is hardware muted or unplugged. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this but I'm at a loss.

I've been googling like crazy to find a fix for this but I can only find threads on getting comms to come through discord streams.
