i just started playing a few weeks back and now am currently in iron 3. iron three is full of newbies who flash their teammates and bait each other. truth is, my teammates crosshair placements are horrendous. they scope in short range duels and sometimes even aim at feet. i can complete bot training at medium difficulty at ease so i think reaction time isnt my problem. however i keep getting one tapped by the enemy and cant react in time to do anything about it. if im camping corners then yes i can get headshots if the attackers dont headshot me first. thats the problem. they just run in without even stopping and one tap me. this has happened multiple times throughout comp. there were bizzare incidents like me on heaven ascent a site and they just rush in and one tap me. i eventually changed my aim style since i find placing my crosshair at head height not effective as mentioned above. my tactic now is to play sage and wall myself into weird ass angles and hopefully catch the enemy with the element if surprise. this worked in the first few round of game but eventually the enemy got used to my tactic and continued one tapping me. so how do i improve my aim and counter these run and gun headshotters. if u read the entire thing thanks im really trying to improve my gameplay.
