Taking just a half a second to think about it, it is clear that the only chance that enemy team has of winning the round is by getting their hands on one of your team’s rifles and snowballing off of it. But every game there has to be someone who will sprint into close quarters at the enemy team looking to pad their stats and then scream in surprised agony as they get right-clicked by 5 classics at once and we lose the round because of it. Or even worse there will be someone who tries to flank and then get shorty’d by someone sitting in a corner in spawn waiting for them and proceed to scream “WHAT ARE THEY DOING THERE?!?!” when clearly that play was their win condition and you just gave it to them.
When the enemy is eco’d, play as far away from them as possible and always with at least one teammate when possible so you can, at worst, get easily traded. You have better long-range guns, and more importantly, even if they forced a marshal or sheriff and hit a headshot, it is very hard for them to recover your rifle.
I can say with certainty that there is no exception to this statement, and the only reason to do it is out of gross overconfidence and complete lack of gamesense.
Thank you.
