**EDIT** - Let me clarify, by " Bans should be permanent for this behaviour.", I of course do not mean all players who go AFK. I mean there should be some human evaluation if the automated system is not working (which it clearly isn't) - it would not take much investigation to see that a player spamming "gg go next" or "i troll" in chat, throwing util at teammates, or taking the bomb to enemies/staying in spawn with it, is a troll and not someone with genuine internet issues.

As title explains- this morning I was on 178 RR, immortal 2.

I play one game, and our chamber decides to just leave in round 5 because we asked him to stop pushing B main on defence every round and dying.

-22. Fun. You'd think the system would see we played 4v5 and maybe be a tad lenient with the rank rating, but nope.

Anyhow, wipe it off and go play next - season is about to end and I've been grinding for Immo 3, right?

Next game, our phoenix whiffs on round 3 and decides he is gonna troll. 2 rounds later, he says "gg" and leaves.

Flash forward to around half time, KAY/O decides he's off as well.

3 afks in 2 games, I reported all 3- not to mention they were out of the game for many rounds.

Not one of them flagged by the all-so-effective "AFK Detection" service. No report feedback.

How is it that if I get some screaming teammates in agent select and want to leave, I get -3 RR and a queue cooldown, but these people exist in what is supposed to be high elo?

Do the game a favour Riot - perma ban people who do this. I've been playing since closed beta and genuinely considering switching to a different game now, as every time I'm close to ranking up this happens and there is no adjustment of RR, no punishment - even if I take the time out of my day to record the behaviour and manually report online, I get the classic "due to data protection we cannot share the feedback with you" malarky.
