I have played the game for a few months, am currently diamond 2 but queuing with a lot of gold-platinum randoms. I come from CSGO and everyone there knows what defaulting is and are generally good at spreading out across the map as T (attacker) to get map control and a possible entry frag. You then pick a site to attack based on the map control and entries you've got.
When I play with randoms everyone just follows me where ever I go and we always end up being 5 guys going at the same place, everyone making lots of noise and making it really obvious for the enemies where we are. This results in us walking into 3-4 enemies at the site and being flanked by the last.
To avoid this I usually try to run away from teammates to get map control on other parts of the map. Usually I get 1-2 entries but sometimes the other 4 guys just die in a pile and it is impossible to win.
Am I stuck playing with really low level players that don't understand such a basic concept of the game, or is the meta in valorant really that different from CS and I am clueless?

How Jett, who came to my game today and claimed to be a smurf, throw the match. These people should be completely blocked from the game, not just the account they are using. People like this exploit away my desire to play game

Precise gunplay. Marshal noscopes are surprisingly accurate.
