Is RIOT doing enought to curb toxicity?

According to a study conducted in 2021, Valorant ranked first with 79% of the players reporting for harassment.

Last night my friend and l played, and the opponent was being disrespectful and showing off. As he got a 4k on the first round, immediately he started off with saying: "not my level kids and every time he got a frag, he and his friend would just type in all chat making fun of our team by saying "f**k off noobs, EZ!!".

yeah obviously he's much better, but that's just bullying anyway after round 3, l started to mute them. but for the rest of the rounds, the moods gone, and you start to wonder, why are we being bullied and yet we continue to plunge ourselves in a toxic environment?

no doubt, Valorant is really fun Riot, please do something more than a soft slap on the wrist to these toxic players. I did receive a report that the player was penalized. But is that small penalty enough to keep others out?

I'm pretty sure RIOT has lost many players due to harrasments/bullying in game. we wouldn't want a case where something really bad happens because of cyber bullying/ harassment until you really take action

think ahead
