Just look at the writing on the walls, the game is transforming into two groups of people: Jett players and those who wish they were Jett players.
I look at the leaderboards, most of the top players are Jett mains. I watch pro players like SicK who don't even touch Jett on their team, guess what? They're spamming Jett on stream. It's cringey man, what's the real story, every pro team consists of one Jett player and 4 people who are silently building resentment that they aren't the Jett player in the spotlight?
The character is like a black hole that sucks the life out of the game. It's the only character that buys a Sheriff on pistol round because her abilities are so useless they have literally nothing to offer the team, and the only skill she needs is the broken dash which comes for free. Meanwhile, your team is forced to buy utility and actually help out. You don't think everyone else wants to buy a deagle on pistol round and chase glory kills?
The selfishness doesn't end there. The agent has managed to single-handedly usurp the entire weapon of the Operator. Anyone who touches the gun as a non-Jett player gets flamed. The character never has to save, because every save round is just another buy for you because of knives.
Jett makes other people feel bad about their abilities and question why they even bother. Perfectly landed slow orb, well timed Brimstone ulti, molotov with excellent placement? Nah, none of it matter because she just dashes out. Not to mention picking another duelist besides Reyna is basically trolling at this point.
Every young kid on Valorant dreams of being that cracked out Jett. They don't learn any tactics or strategy because none of it is relevant when you play the last airbender. They spend every game instalocking, trying to be TenZ, and eventually ruining it for the rest of their team.
Just surprising to me no one else sees where this is heading, and why they released greed itself in agent form. Shout-out to Natz who does his thing and still plays the homies even on his own time and makes it look awesome, you a real one.
Edit: Y'all remember when competitive Overwatch first came out and it was basically just 'better Widowmaker wins'? Valorant is starting to feel like that, not completely, but a little bit.
Edit 2: To the new people commenting trying to make fun of me, it's no skin off my back lol. I'm nasty with the awp and solo queue is coin flip anyway, so I have no issue instalocking Jett, using the most powerful weapons, never having to save, and best of all gaining more/losing less RR than everyone because I die less and kill more just because I'm Jett.
Edit 3: The opening statement seems to be holding pretty true. The fluctuating upvotes/downvotes and comments on this post are either hating on me and calling me trash because I don't approve of the character, or some people agreeing with the viewpoints and offering even more I didn't think of.
