I'm getting pretty tired of giving this game chances over and over to get the most basic things right when it comes to quality of experience and fairness. As a solo que, I can't really shield myself from bad matches as well as groups can, and this is exacerbated to the extreme because of some amateur design choices by the dev team. I still can't believe that an F2P title doesn't have any real smurf detection/prevention system, and it's still baffling to me that as a solo que the MMR could every think putting me, a duo, and two randos against a 4-5 stack (and even a couple of times all solos vs a 5 stack) would ever be fair. On top of this we have *zero* tools to know why things are going so sideways.

Unless you're a veteran FPS player or the other team makes it really obvious they're teamed/smurfing, most players will never realize why their experience is so streaky, mismatched, and giving wildly inaccurate feedback about where their own skill level shout be at what ranks. The smurfing issue is such a "game dev 101" screw up that it's hard to believe, of course an f2p ranked fps is going to have armies of smurfs clogging up the mid ranks if you don't have some serious prevention in place. With groups going against solos, the pop is plenty healthy enough to just make the group sit tight for a fair match, or you could at the least add a soloque mode.

It's just tiring having to throw an entire match away because either team gets some immortal 3 duo that the game thinks is gold, or because the MMR thought putting a duo + 3stack against randoms was a good idea. If I do bail on Valorant, it's not because I got tired of practicing or because the gameplay got stale, it will be because I feel like half my matches are just wasted time, or really low quality due to two smurfs on either team having a carry fight.
