As a veteran spike rush player, I think Riot could implement a few things to improve the game mode overall. Here is an idea that would instantly make spike rush teammates more enjoyable:

So this happened in my game today. Spike appears on attackers spawn and as soon as the actual spike carrier dies it just disappears.
