My Valorant theory

So my friend and I went into a custom match on Valorant. We explored all of the maps as we haven't really had time to during a real match. We came up with a pretty valid theory, I think.

We think it all starts with the map split. Split is a nice cityscape. If you look around you can see the symbol of a squared K everywhere. We have theorized it's the sponsor, new government, or something that holds significant power. K, or Kingdom appears to be some type of monopoly, with control over all of the maps. There's no doubt in my mind that Kingdom is suspicious. Split is well maintained, with nice stores, apartments, and houses.

Next, Bind. Focusing on the defenders side spawn are a plethora of posters. One features a rat with the words "Kingdom of Lies" we assumed this meant the literal Kingdom of Split. This means, somebody doesn't like Kingdom, and they have propaganda and what appears to be a following. Going to the overview, B appears to be much like a technology center. Strangely mechanical. Back hallway of B site, on the left wall, there is a weird diagram. Some type of energy in its raw form, being contained, and then being made into those glass blueish green boxes you see in every site you plant Spike. I don't think this is a coincidence. If you continue down B back hallway right before elbow, there is a lab room. It looks like people, (Kingdom) were experimenting with this energy and processing it.

Next, Ascent. This is the first map in my timeline that shows the weird portals and decay of buildings. Like an unstable dimension. Kingdom signs are less common on this map, but if you look hard enough you can find them. The Capitol esk building on site A is being destroyed by this unstable dimension looking thing. Its on the opposite side of the map on B site also, but farther out into the distance. My theory here is that something with the energy in previous map Bind is going horribly wrong. Something happened, and it's going bad. Again you will notice the theme, where you plant the spike on both sites have these glowing glass blueish green boxes. Almost as though the attackers are trying to destroy these.

Haven. This one is fun. First take the name "Haven" a safe place right? Notice the attackers side. Instead of going onto a site look into the background. Its beautiful, luscious full of life and birds and mountains and a beautiful river cutting through all of it. No contrast the defenders side. It's dark, these monolithic stones are corralling the defenders in. In between all of these dark and gloomy stones? A glowing box. As if it is the center of the damage. The center of the darkness. Let's talk about site C. You're planting on the boxes. Site B, take a moment and look up instead of around. Its storing what appears to be hundreds of these boxes, and where do you plant the spike? Right underneath them. Site A is exactly the same. You're blowing up those glowing, suspicious boxes. One Easter egg I found in Haven is Raze's voice line "Look at this place! It used to be so beautiful. Don't worry, I'll send you off with a bang" next Easter egg is on every site there is a map located in different places. On B window to the right is a map of all three sites, miniature posters have those boxes with exclamation point on them. This cannot be a coincidence. In A heaven, inside to the very left is another poster with miniature warnings on the boxes. The same is on site C. I can't remember where at this time but it's over there too. Now onto my theory for this map. Haven used to be a safe place for Valorant. Warriors from all over the world would train and it was often seen as sentimental. It fell under rule of Kingdom, making it into yet another storage for the energy that appears to not be stable. Your goal as Valorant fighters is to destroy yet another storage space of Kingdom.

Last but not least ICEBOX!!! The newest map, the largest and the least liked. Notice the storage containers? The escalators shielded by glass at defender spawn? The massive cranes that are moving these shipping containers? Icebox is cold, far out. And for some reason, heavily guarded. Icebox is surrounded with thick ice walls and watch towers. Why? I think this is a big factory of Kingdom. Site A has a huge Easter egg. Going to the far left of the site from defenders side, look up at that wall. An alcove, with a humanoid shape, shooting energy from it. Why is the spike trying to destroy it? Is it how Omen was created? A failed experiment that turned him into a shadow? Is Kingdom creating their own superhumans? There are other humanoid shapes along the walls, appearing to all wait their turn to be tested on.

So, to sum my theory up, I believe that Kingdom, a monopoly that is controlling the world, trying to use this energy source that seems almost magical to either create an alternate dimension or create their own superhumans to fight back against Valorant.

This is all just a theory, this was a crap ton fun to figure out. Follow me on Twitch and Twitter!! Weblobookie :)
