New update every time I run valorant?

Every time I open valorant it needs to update , and usually updates don't take a long time to complete (just 15 minutes) but it's annoying.. does anyone have the same problem?

What monitor do you guys use?

Looking to purchase a new monitor for fps gaming. I'm hoping I could get a decent monitor in the $200- $300 range. Since valorant is what I mainly play figured I will ask people here. Thank you in advance.
