Aren't the heavy machine guns supposed to be high fire rate but inaccurate and difficult to control? Using ADS with the Odin/Ares mitigates both does disadvantages to a point where even in pro play it is viable. It's just not fun to die to someone holding that one angle you couldn't clear fast enough (since there are a hundreds of corners on each map) with an Odin in hand and just goes brrrrrrr.
