They call me a lore guy on the street. I absolutely LOVE lore in video games. Whilst Valorant doesn't have toooo much yet, and I'm pretty sure I don't know all of it, I wanted to talk about one of the ideas I had. I'm not sure if someone has already talked about this at some point, but I did want to put it somewhere, I guess. So sorry if I'm just saying someone else's idea. ALSO. I'm not very awake, and I'm sort of getting the feeling that my writing is all over the place.
Radianite has affected only 6 of the playable characters directly. Omen and Reyna, however, seem to be the most affected by it; and are by far affected by it in the most severe way.
I'm going to guess Radianite is somewhat alive. I dunno if this has been confirmed or denied at all, but I'm pretty sure it does have somewhat of a consciousness, mainly because I feel like it's sort of implied that Reyna has another personality inside of her. "Cower, Run", which both she and Omen both say, seems like something talking through Reyna. She sounds like she's struggling to say it. I always thought it was like a demon sitting inside of her, which I guess it could be in a sense. Omen is a little different though. He says it in the same way he'd say anything. As we all know Omen sort of implies he's not really a human. I think there's a chance that, rather than First Light event thingy causing Omen to have a second consciousness within him, like Reyna seems to, the consciousness has pretty much overtaken Omen entirely. He definitely has some human memories, since he remembers Viper from before.
This next bit is gonna be VERY speculative. What if the Radianite has more than one consciousness? I get the feeling that different parts of the world had very different experiences. So Pheonix and Jett got out pretty well with it; sort of gaining powers from it, rather than being somewhat absorbed by it. I know Omen is, or was, part of another group outside of Valorant; Kingdom, which is against the Valorant protocol. Kingdom is all about harnessing the Radianite for their own benefit, so what if, when Kingdom most likely forced Reyna and Omen, and maybe Viper, to "gain" Radianite in whatever way, the Radianite sort of attacked back in whatever way it could? It would explain why Reyna's second voice is so aggressive, and why Omen doesn't necessarily seem human anymore.
UPDATE--- Spoke with some people on the Valorant lore discord about how Reyna or Omen might've been a weapon for Kingdom to get rid of enhanced people. I more or less said this;
If anything I'd assume it'd be Reyna who was the weapon. Dunno why but Omen gives me the impression that he doesn't remember much. He also implies that there might be more than one of them whenever he kills himself; unlike the others he doesn't say they're an imposter, he questions how many times he's died, or how many times he was "ripped apart". I'd like to think the Omen/s we play as aren't part of Kingdom anymore

Why do people get so upset when someone is still trying to learn and get better at the game?
