never thought i would've had to make this post but im surprised at the amount of players that dont know what this means.
basically, defaulting is where you will play a set position for map control on attack. This doesnt mean you have to push a site, it will just deny the enemies ability to flank/control the map and keep them guessing where the spike will end up. Far too often i see my attack side teammates stack a site and when the push doesnt work, you struggle to rotate as you become paranoid about where the enemy team could be lurking. While i think 5 man pushing a site can work, it should not happen on every single round.

If you know the attackers have KJ ult, you can save both your slow orbs and stop their entire push.
