I am not sure if it is a bug but i just played a game as Astra and it did not count towards my mission at all. I think its because Astra’s stars are technically not abilities but now i know not to play Astra if i want to complete the ‘purchase abilities’ mission

Op cycling noise sometimes seems way closer than it is..
It's super random when it happens and I don't know what causes it or what specific set of circumstances there are... which character is using it... It's gotten me killed more than once because I'll look in the direction that the cycling cam...
