I always wondered why this isn’t a thing. I like the look of the plat buddy but I probably will hit diamond before the Episode ends. My 2 options are to either not play ranked for the next 4 months or just miss out on the plat gun buddy.

Going up multiple ranks within an Episode should just let you have all the gun buddies of the ranks before or at least the ranks that you passed through. I think this might just be me though.
