Adding an ability to equip different skins for each side (attacking and defending) would only benefit them because it would not in any situation decrease skin sales and at best would cause ppl to buy more skins so that they can have different skins on each side.

They should also add a Randomize option like the one they have in League. This isn't as beneficial for skin sales as the previous thing but would still be good.
