Hi everyone, I want to preface this post by saying I am not claiming I'm good at Val, at best, I'm a high plat player. I'm hoping I could gauge what other solo queue players' experiences are, and hopefully bring our frustration to light for Riot.
Recently I started playing Val again after Episode 3, and saw a big skill level difference in my lobbies. I don't mind the no comm or toxicity much since I am solo Q on this account after all and that is to be expected.
I've played 32 competitive games since the act started and here are the results:

Averaging 176 Damage/Round and close to 1.3 K/D ratio at this elo, with 12 wins and 20 losses lol.
My games have consistently had players who are similar rank having less than 5 kills the whole game. Sometimes even 3 players. Unfortunately at my skill level I'm not able to carry myself out of this elo when 2-3 players on my team are having such a tough time.
Does Riot not care about solo queue at all? If you are a solo queue player, kindly leave a note of your experience lately with matchmaking.
Have a great weekend everyone!
