Just need to vent a bit, title says it all. After my placements when I started doing comp I got placed in bronze 1. After months of grinding I actually got good, dropping 20+ kills almost every game. (An improvement for me anyway). I got up to silver 2, and every time I'm about to get to solver 3 I lose 3 or 4 games in a row and have to grind back up.

And I get it, any shooter with a competitive ranking system is gonna require grinding, and I'm cool with that, it's really rewarding knowing you grinder to get where you are.

But more often than not there's at least one diamond or higher smurf in the lobby. It's absolute bullshit, every single time I move I get shit on by a headshot, before I can even react. It's made it impossible to get out of silver. I've already taken a couple two week breaks from the game because of it, probably gonna do another one. Why can't these guys just play at their own skill level instead of keeping low elo players from ranking up?

TLDR; Smurfs are bullshit
