I understand both sides of the map selection argument. I believe we can have a middle ground. Prior to the agent selection screen, 2 maps are voted on by the 10 players with majority winning. If there is a tie, then RNG is put into play, picking 1 of the 2 proposed maps.

Like I came here to get domed by someone running around with a bucky. Didn't really come here to get one tapped across the map on icebox while holding said bucky.

Is it better to ban your worst map or your opponent's best map?
I was watching VCT then came across this thought. So in VCT your team can ban at least 1 map. You also get to pick your own. I think the banning goes first so your pick might be not be your best map. Unless the opponent bans their worst map...
