So apparently, the log jump on ascent still exists. This time, there is a way for you to virtually instant peek someone on a jump.
To do the log jump, hold W + A or W + D ( S + A or S + D going backwards) into the wall depending on which side it is, and spam jump. Sometimes the jump will "fail" and not even bring you up the normal height you would achieve a normal jump. I think this is because you hit your head on the pixels. In the small amount of testing I did however, doing this with any gun out seems to either always fail or mostly fail the normal jump. I don't think spamming crouch and jump increases your chances to perform the log jump, but who knows, this just happened to be the most "consistent" way to do it, despite the rng aspect.
Now for the instant jump, it's a little more tricky, as you need you line yourself up a certain way: looking directly into the wall(50 seconds into the video).
I don't know if this works in a real game, but I don't see a reason why not. Instead of going through the jump animation, it seems to instantly snaps you onto the pixel ledge, instantly allowing you to shoot with 100% accuracy.
Do with this information as you will, but besides RNG-ing your way into a successful jump in the middle of a fight, the best thing I can think of using this jump for is either Reyna/Jett with an OP or any rifle to get a pick on this off angle, and getting out.
