is to match your teams energy, and not being combative over voice.
some things you can do:
DONT be bossy or annoying in the player select. If you really care about this, you can be the one to fill. Or you can hover an agent instead of insta lock. Don't tell people what to play. "We Need Smokes" as a Jett is cringe. This could cause the smokes player to not want to play the game the way he wants to and he'll cry all game. This will set the tone of the lobby, so let people load in first.
When the game starts, if no one is talking say a simple "hi" or something short, to see if people are going to be communicating (if no one answers, thats rough, probably gg) but DON'T say "WHO HAS MICS" thats cringe. most people have a mic. just chill out.
Communicate simple calls to start "im droning short, if someone wants to follow" then if someone doesnt follow it, DONT say "yo jett why didn't you follow my drone?". Don't say it like that. Next round starts, say "ok i'll drone short again, jett can u follow it, i'll trade if u die". Perfect communication right here. Shows you are not telling him what to do. You are suggesting things. This is key. People playing are usually BABIES so if you tell them what to do, they will simply not do it just because they "dont like being told what to do". They are cringe. If you get a gamer like this you have to be careful.
If someone dies never say "why didnt u do THIS" instead say "nice try". This is key. Not everyone is as smart as you are. Also, sometimes you are wrong or maybe you didn't have info they did. The round is over if they want to learn from it, they will do it themselves. Say something you could have done to help instead. "Next time I'll swing off you, my bad" not "why didn't you swing off me"
If someone frags out and gets 3, then dies, then you win the round or clutch up after, Say "yo nice round (agent)". This gives them confidence even though they didn't live to the end of the round, that they did good. Confidence is everything in this game.
Match your teams energy. If they are joking around, don't tell them to shut up, just join in or stay quiet. That's gonna make them single you out, or not support you. If they are annoying you can mute them. Maybe you will still win as long as they don't grief you.
I think these tips are super important. There are more maybe I'll edit in but I really wanted to post this. Last few games (around 5 games i've had) I've been seeing more people doing this (myself too) and its helped. D3 - Acendant 2 elo. The last thing you want to do in this game is fall into losers queue where you can't communicate with anyone because they are too depressed from losing 5 in a row, and they rage queue because they are addicted.
