I've seen a few comments in this sub from people involved with riot and I wanted to offer a place to maybe let someone in the know explain, and maybe provide an official answer for those with the same question as me:
It's been known for a while that with about every Valorant update, the performance if some computers goes down noticeably. The game stutters more, the max and 1% low FPS decreases, etc. It's entirely possible that nobody, including riot, understands exactly why this happens. That's fair. I think it's safe to assume if they understood exactly why it happens they would probably make fixing the issue a priority.
I just figured, it's possible that someone with the proper knowledge/sources who knows the cause of the issue, but perhaps not a solution, or they know the general idea of why it happens might see this post. If they did, I'm hoping they could provide a little bit of transparency to me, and the many other players who are aware of the issue, but not sure whether or not a solution is being looked into. Any info at all would be great. I'm sure it's complicated though, and I would imagine it is something that riot is looking into.
Thanks :)
