Like everyone pointed out recently, there's a problem with the MMR / Rank discrepancy.

I personally think the problem is more severe than some might think. I have two accounts, both in silver 2 (one main one alt).

My main faces silver/golds that are borderline crazy, everyone has nutty aim, has good sense, and plays well in general. My other s2 (same rank), faces opponents (also in silver/gold) with crosshairs way too low, spam the body on first sight, doesn't know to play bomb, and only rushes sites.

My alt is gaining more elo when winning than losing, while my main is losing more elo when losing than winning. How is my main supposed to climb when we're only facing equally hard-stuck silver/golds that are FAR FAR better than the silver/golds my alt is facing? Especially when they somehow think my main's real mmr is lower than my alt (when I try harder on my main).

They definitely should be matching the rank much closer to the MMR than they are currently. Maybe not a 1:1 direct correlation but this horrible ranked experience needs to end.
