Hi everyone!
I’m a League of Legends player and I watch a lot of pro games. I just started watching some Valorant too but I have so many questions not about the game specifically but actually about pro players and how a roaster is formed. Let me be more clear: in League there are roles, such as Toplane, Midlane, Jungle, Botlane and Support. These roles are not just respected in pro play but also in avarage games cause that’s how the game is supposed to be played most of the metas. In Valorant, things seem to be different, considering that a good aimer could easily get to a decent elo without respecting team comp. So for example, in League clubs will create a roaster choosing a player for each role. My question is: do players have a favorite role? Do rosters get formed considering which role a player prefers? If so, how many duelists, how many controllers and so on? How often it is that they change role?

Why isn’t a knife kill worth more that a gun kill?
