I know of a few guns in Valorant that have unique names for each subtypes. However I cannot really figure out the majority of them.
For example,
"Silenced" guns have ghost-ish names:
- Ghost
- Phantom
- Spectre
Machine guns have God names:
- Odin
- Ares
Law Enforcement / Authority?
- Sheriff
- Marshal
- Judge
- Guardian
Not sure of the group though these guns seem like they don't belong in the same group unlike the above.
Rest I'm unsure of:
- Vandal
- Frenzy
- Operator
- Stinger
- Classic
- Bucky
English isn't my first language (I don't know the meaning of "Vandal" for example). Figured I'd ask the community.

Sage buff suggestion
So I've been playing valorant since June and gotten to see the rise and fall of Sage in action. I'm usually a sentinel main and honestly still play her quite a bit just for the wall spots you can do and her slow orbs are still quite effecti...
