VALORANT Lore Theory: The "Accident" Happened on Haven

It's no secret that one of the most widely accepted lore theories in VALORANT is the one regarding the situation between Viper, Sage, and Omen. Throughout multiple different voice lines in the game, it becomes apparent that in the past Viper experimented on Omen, and the experiments went wrong. Sage was supposed to fix Omen, but she was not powerful enough to save him. The result of the problem was Fred turning into the ghost-like creature known as Omen. Recently, while looking through the voice lines of different characters, I noticed a Sage Haven map quote I had not yet thought about:

"This place... I can feel its pain, it aches for redemption!"

The inclusion of thought about redemption is what interested me. Clearly, Sage has almost become obsessed with becoming strong and controlling her healing power, so what happened previously doesn't happen again.

"I wasn't strong enough before... but now, now I am strong enough for us all!"

"I will defend you all with my power and with my life."

"My purpose is my gift, be not afraid to accept it."

While this means that the theme of redemption is repeated, the map that the voice line is stated on interests me: Haven. The fact that the area "aches for redemption" almost screams to me that something went wrong there in the past, likely the failed experiment and that she wants to succeed because she wants to prove to Omen and Viper that she is strong enough to save them now, unlike the past. It's possible that the accident happened at defender spawn https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EcGDFvzU8AIh6AS.jpg because the formations there, as well as the container, hint at something having happened there. At the very least, the fiery rectangular rocks curving upwards next to the container look out of place. The fact that it is defender spawn also means that the area would be controlled more strongly by the Kingdom corporation, with which Viper, Omen, and Sage have direct ties.

Although this is by no means a concrete theory, I think it might add some context to what happened in the past.

Please let me know what you think! ^^
