What actions can I take against misogynistic voice comm abusers?

Hi all,

I know Valorant has a report feature, but I want to explore other possibilities since reporting appears to be insufficient.

Today, I was playing Killjoy in a spike rush. I didn’t use voice comm or chat, and I was actually doing pretty well in the game as one of the top players. Suddenly, out of the blue, one player said “Killjoy, you should uninstall, you fggt”. My Valorant name is feminine. This comment was extremely inappropriate and homophobic already.

I responded, in voice comm, “Wait, what did I do? Why are you so mad?” And at this point, I think he realized I was a girl, and started going ALL OFF.

“You should uninstall you f**king whre” “Suck my dck” ...

At this point, I was agitated and speechless. I told him I’ll report him, and he simply said “I’ll just play on my other accounts.” His friend, who had a matching Valorant name, also added on (in chat) and said something like, “you can use my account” to him.

This is not the first time I encounter something like this over Valorant voice comm. Every time, I feel extremely harassed and defeated. Is there really nothing I can do other than report? Can I contact Riot Games and actually retrieve their IPs to initiate a civil suit (extreme scenario that I came up in my head)? I wrote Riot a letter and I’m still waiting for a response. Just want to know what everyone thinks.

Thanks beforehand!
