I have been away from the game since season 1. Where i played just enough to get into ranked and climb to plat 1, in a week. I have since stopped playing the game and come back (almost 18 months) and let me tell you.... it has been one of the worst competitive gaming experiences of my life. I am constantly qued against smurfs and people that are SO OBVIOUSLY AND CLEARLY BETTER ITS NOT EVEN IN QUESTION.

How does RIOT not have a system in place that can measure the metrics of ACTIVE players and matchmake accordingly... it could be headshot accuracy, spray accuracy, kills per round, damage per round. Its not hard.. I shouldnt have to endure 30 games of getting completely dumpstered for the matchmaking to go "okay maybe this player doesnt belong in these games". I also shouldnt have to make a completely new account. If i've been away from the game for a whole fucking YEAR... RESET MY MMR...
