Okay, this is going to sound like I hate the Odin but I really don't.

Context : We were playing a game of ranked yesterday on Haven. One of my teammates bought an Ares at like 3rd round or something like that and made kills with it. This tilted the enemy team which said the usual "Ares noob weapon" etc etc.

At this point we were winning, us playing Phantom/Vandals against Phantom/Vandals. But then they started buying Odins. The first round it was only one player but as soon as he succeeding in killing us, more players of the enemy team bought Odins and then at one point it was the entire team.

And they crushed us. It began a few rounds before the switch and went all until the end of the game. The few kills we managed to get were when we bought Odin ourselves (we were so poor it happened only 2 rounds).

How is it that a full Odin team wins against full Vandal/Phantom team ? Why is that ? Were we so hopeless in terms of aim ? Will I start buying an Odin ? I mean the meta is Vandal Phantom all the way so why ? Why is it so easy to get crushed against an Odin ?

It was bronze to gold elo if I have to be precise.
