What are some Valorant advice/tips for a beginner?

Hiii. I'm considering trying this game out and would like to know any advice for a noob player to this type of game. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated, thanks.

Does anyone else get a hit of nostalgia when using the golden gun

Every time I play with the golden gun I love it. Brings me nostalgia as golden eye 007 is a great game and having this homage to it just brings me a bit of happiness. Don't know if that's just me though

Outpost green goo looks like a sticker on a tube rather than 3d

Not sure if I worded that correctly, but the skins could look soo much better if that stupid green goo stuff on the skins wasn't so awkward looking.
