I see a lot of Omen players (or Brim and Astra) smoke like this. I try to tell the them that they should put it inside the choke instead because of how it gives the enemy more space. But they just tell me "shut up and still down, bot frag."

So when I face an enemy that knows how to take advantage of these smokes, the Omen gets surprised how they're losing despite top fragging.

So how do you play with these to YOUR advantage? Or is it always a disadvantage no matter what and you have to pray that your smokes player realizes their mistake soon?

EDIT: Some tips others have told me to use these smokes to your advantage...

DEFENDER

- Especially on eco rounds, with a shotgun, sit outside (so you don't get spammed) but beside the smoke and hope no one clears your side so you can get free kills.

ATTACKER

- It is annoying for you to have to clear team utility with utility, but once you clear it, set up a trap play.
