As the title says, I have been playing Valorant for a while now. Currently Silver 1 and always when I play unrated I am able to provide value and make consistent kills with the vandal and spectre (my two main weapons) many times sitting top frag with a 1.5+ KD. However, as soon as I get into competitive it all takes a complete U-turn. I whiff every shot, get one-tapped every time, and have games where I go with 0 kills for nearly the entire first half.
My own theory is that I panic when I see an enemy and instantly move away to save myself but in turn basically throw.
Anyone who had a similar situation?

In the midst of all the game complaint posts, I'd like to raise a point that has been plagueing me outside of VALORANT itself for months now.
