I normally use deathmatch as a way to warm up whenever I get on, but there always seems to be someone leagues higher in skill level than me every time. It feels like there's an ascendent or diamond in every lobby I queue into and it's always annoying because it messes up my mental for the rest of the time I'm playing. Image from earlier today here
