I see people in competitive telling me to give them the 2nd half and now I've seen it in pro play. Why do people fill it to half and then let a team mate defuse the 2nd half?

Which tasks in Kovaaks should I do to practice angle holding and to trace strafing targets?
I play Valorant and sometimes when im holding an angle and someone peeks me, I usually whiff the shot even if im holding the angle.
My secondary issue is that when people move a bit before stopping, I have trouble quickly micro adjusting...
