I don't understand how the system works. Why can I not queue with Plat 2's and higher but the game allows me to match against Diamonds? This was solo queue and my peak rank was Gold 3.

has anyone climbed to immortal/radiant without using aimlabs or shooting range?
I have once tried aim-labs, didn't find it quite useful(I might be wrong)
I'm currently playing at D3, sometimes I go back to D2, but I can comfortably stay in D3, and I have once touched A1 as well.
