This is literally the only game I’m recommended to go significantly under the base sensitivity and it feels like someone stuck me in a block of amber and I have barely any room to maneuver. Why is it so low and should I be getting used to it?

We all know that agents like to talk to each other, but it's always a monologue. If Omen says something about Viper, Viper never responds and the same goes for everyone else.
