Why is the start of the season such a nightmare?

Ranked is a nightmare: games feel very very hard (teamplay is low, comms are low, people afraid to push, no one executes a site when we killed one, etc)..

I know there was a small rank reset, but that doesn't explain why I feel so disconnected from my teammates.. Rank last act: immortal 2.
