Gap between 2,3. A bigger gap between 3,4. An absolute canyon of a gap between 6,7.

Silver 3 getting matched in plat lobbies?
so i did my placements, got silver 3 and every single one of my matches (including the 5 placements) have been high gold / low plat, even after being placed. Is it just because I'm relatively new so the game is trying to figure out my MMR?...
