For those who do not know, “contact” is a play in the attacking play book. Almost just like 5 man rushing but with a delay (typically pushing lanes while walking, not running).

Cut noise off rip until the first enemy MAKES CONTACT (ie sees you directly or with utility like recon darts/skye flashes) with you or someone on your team then and only then you start to execute your site take.

The objective here is to get as much map control as you can without giving away information to the enemy team. The deeper you can get into those lanes without giving the enemy information, the longer it will take for the rotates to come in. Thus, giving you more time to set up a post plant hold.

Now obviously the enemy team can acquire information by clearing lanes YOU’RE NOT in. That is one disadvantage but if executed with haste, it can be a very effective tactic.
