I used to play daily but when the new season came I said I'd wait for the new healer so I went offline for a while I got into genshin impact and forgot to come back. I launched the game and expected an update and there was one but I was also logged off my acc. I went to the browser logins and got my username and password but my account said I needed to verify it. I changed the password because I wasn't even sure if I had the right one and then verified. when I logged on it had me do the tutorial and then I realized I was on a new account. I used the same email and name and I don't know what happened. I was f2p but had every character except 1 and I spent quite a lot of hours on the game anyone know what the hell happened?
