As the title says, would grinding deathmatch be a plausible way of improving your aim? The games are fast, respawn times are super short, and you are given any gun you want from the beginning. Compared to grinding real unrated games, deathmatch seems to be the best way to improve aim in the most efficient way possible.
The reason why I want to improve my aim is because spraying can only get me so far. I've been slowly climbing out of gold, around Gold 2 right now. Compared to the other teammates I'm playing with, my aim is severely lacking. I find that my game sense and general knowledge is fine, but it's just the important duels and gunfights that I end up losing.
TL;DR : If we are focusing solely on aim improvement, is deathmatch the best option? If not, what is? Any personal experiences from someone in my position?

1v5 0 Kill clutch. Sometimes the enemy is more thirsty for kills than for winning the round.
