Let's talk about what is far worst than someone who doesn't have a microphone at all... those who are extremely toxic in agent select or during the first few rounds of the game
Choosing to be toxic to someonewithin the first 4 rounds of a game, particularly in verbal arguments that last for an extended time, almost always lead to a loss.
While this may not be that surprising, a lot of player seem to underestimate how much their behavior can impact their entire team throughout the rest of the match.
If you can't stop this habit, the next step may be to try NOT using a microphone at all.
Giving no comms during a match is far better for your team than having teammates who are constantly screaming, yelling, and flaming each other.
Trying to clutch when others are screaming or arguing is not fun, nor feasible. Further, if you were flaming less yourself you'd probably be less distracted and play better.
You queue up for a competitive match
- (Review) Which means that you'd probably like to rank up, win the game, or at least play well yourself, no?
Then you get upset that a teammate picks a certain agent, has a certain rank, or does something else to upset you.
You then decide to scream at them in team voice chat, or say some toxic passive aggressive remarks.
You don't stop after one comment or one remark, though, you keep flaming them for over 20 seconds long, back-and-forth.
- (Review) ? ? ?
- (Review) ...
- (Review) How does this possibly, ever, help you to win the game?
- (Review) You just tilted at least one of your teammates that you need to win the game, if not more of them. Congratulations, enjoy the next 30 to 70 minutes of that match!
Remember, they are literally on your team, you need them to win. If you want to get to a higher rank, improve at the game, or win the match... refrain from this behavior.
This is why tilting your teammates should never be a goal, nor something you laugh at or think that you are "cool" for doing.
In conclusion: pls don't flame, thx!
