Game Changers Championship Fan Fest in São Paulo: Dates, Venue and Tickets

The Game Changers Championship is returning to São Paulo, and Riot has added something new for the last weekend: a separate Fan Fest. That distinction matters if you are travelling. The championship matches are at Riot Games Arena in Barra Funda; the Fan Fest is at Community Creators Academy in Vila Leopoldina. They are not two names for one venue.

Riot's September 5 announcement puts the Fan Fest on October 30, October 31 and November 1, 2026. The Game Changers Championship itself runs October 22 through November 1, so this is a finals-weekend add-on, not a replacement for the tournament arena.

Put the right place in your plans

The Fan Fest address is Community Creators Academy, Rua Mergenthaler 1177, Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo. Riot says it will have an in-person watch party, a PC Bang, Artists Alley, creator appearances and event activations. Those are the confirmed broad activities, not a timetable. The official announcement does not name appearance times, participating artists or the programme for each day.

That is a useful boundary to keep in mind. If meeting a particular creator or attending a specific activity is the reason for your trip, wait for Riot's social posts before making a non-refundable plan. The current page says more information will follow, but it does not promise a schedule.

The championship arena is elsewhere. Riot identifies it as Riot Games Arena in Barra Funda, while the Fan Fest is in Vila Leopoldina. Build enough time into your day for a venue change if you want to do both. Riot has not published transport advice, walking time, bag rules or re-entry policy for the Fan Fest in this notice, so do not carry assumptions from another VCT event over to it.

Fan Fest tickets are a different purchase

Riot says Fan Fest ticket sales begin October 13 through Sympla and will cost R$30 per event day. A three-day visit would therefore be R$90 before any fees, if tickets remain available for each day. Riot does not state a launch hour or time zone. There is no honest UTC conversion to put in a calendar yet.

The practical move is to register with Sympla now, then check Riot's announcement and the event listing close to October 13 for the actual on-sale time. Do not treat a calendar alert at midnight Brazil time as an official sale time. It is only a reminder to look for one.

Tickets for the championship at Riot Games Arena are separate. Riot links existing Championship sales through Eventim Brazil, while the new R$30 price applies to the Fan Fest. The official announcement makes that split explicit. Buying a Fan Fest ticket should not be assumed to provide arena access, and an arena ticket should not be assumed to cover Fan Fest entry unless Riot says so later.

What to expect from the weekend

Riot describes the Fan Fest as a chance to watch alongside other fans, play at the PC Bang, visit Artists Alley and see creators. It is not yet a match schedule. The live VALORANT Esports schedule shows Game Changers Championship knockouts in late October, but team matchups and final-day timing are not facts this announcement settles.

That makes this a better plan than trying to pre-book every hour:

• Pick the Fan Fest day or days you actually want before the October 13 sale.
• Keep the Fan Fest and arena locations separate in your map and your ticket wallet.
• Check Riot's channels again for an activity schedule, entry guidance and creator details.
• Use the official schedule for match start times, particularly if you are arranging your visit around a watch party.

What Riot has not confirmed yet

There is enough information to decide whether the Fan Fest is interesting, but not enough to predict a full weekend. Riot has not published its daily programme, named creators or artists, listed accessibility arrangements, explained food policy, set an entry age policy, or given a sale time. It has also not said whether any event activity has a separate sign-up or capacity limit.

Those omissions are normal for an announcement made more than seven weeks before the event. They are still reasons not to turn a general activity list into a promise. Check the original Riot notice before travelling, especially after ticket sales open.
