North American Game Changers is entering its final stage of 2026. Riot has announced an eight-team Stage 2 main event played online across September 1-3 and September 8-9, followed by a best-of-five grand final on LAN at Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles on September 17. Riot's August 21 event announcement is the page to trust if a time, stream or ticket detail moves.
This is a North American regional event. It should not be mixed up with the Game Changers Americas LCQ, which is a separate October event in São Paulo, or with VCT Americas Play-Ins. Riot says a Last Chance Qualifier is still coming for Game Changers NA, but its August 21 announcement does not give its format or dates. That is a useful line to hold: there is plenty to watch in Stage 2 without guessing at the next bracket.
The eight teams and the opening day
Riot seeded the field as follows: FlyQuest RED, SwimTrek Blue, Shopify Rebellion Gold, The Spiders, Axolotl, HIMMERS, Cloud9 GC and MVSK Secret. The seed list is confirmed in the official event announcement; it is not a current power ranking or a prediction of who reaches Los Angeles.
The first four series take place on Tuesday, September 1. At 2 PM PT, The Spiders play Axolotl on the main stream while FlyQuest RED face MVSK Secret on an observer-only feed. At 5 PM PT, SwimTrek Blue meet Cloud9 GC on the main stream and Shopify Rebellion Gold play HIMMERS on the observer-only feed. Riot's schedule makes the split explicit, so a fan following one team should check the stream assignment before the first map rather than assuming every match is on the same channel.
That parallel setup changes how to watch the opening round. Pick the main broadcast if you want the primary show and desk coverage. Switch to Raidiant's observer-only stream if your matchup is there and you care more about the game than a polished broadcast package. You cannot watch four series at once in any meaningful way; choose one, then use VODs for the rest.

The dates and match labels come from Riot's published schedule. The middle column is deliberately more useful than a vague "playoffs" label: it tells you when an upper-bracket result changes the pressure on the lower side of the event. Riot has not supplied enough detail in this announcement to justify filling in future opponents now.
One date deserves a second look. The online main event runs through September 9, but the grand final is a week later, on Thursday, September 17. That gap is not an error in the schedule. It is the planned move from the online bracket to the LAN final. If you are putting the event in a calendar, add both the September 1 opener and the September 17 final; watching only the first week misses the match Riot has set aside for the arena.
Watching and attending
Riot lists VALORANT Americas on Twitch and VALORANT Americas on YouTube for the event. Raidiant's Twitch channel carries the observer-only feed during the overlapping September 1-2 match days. For the September 17 grand final, Riot says tickets go on sale August 25 at 12 PM PT for Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles. The announcement does not promise availability, seating information or entry rules, so check the live ticket link from Riot before travelling. A ticket-sale time is not the same thing as a confirmed ticket in hand.
What to keep separate
Stage 2 matters because it is the last announced North American Game Changers stage of the season and it feeds into a LAN grand final. It does not make every later qualification question answerable today. Riot's announcement says the LCQ is on the horizon and that more details will follow; until those details arrive, the cleanest coverage is the published field, bracket dates and watch options.
For now, the practical plan is simple: choose an opening matchup on September 1, keep September 8-9 free for the bracket's late rounds, and check the official page again before the September 17 LAN final. The event will have a clearer shape after the first week. The dates already are.
